SORBIDO PREMIUM TEQUILA

A glass of tequila with large ice cubes and a lime wedge garnishing the glass, placed on a dark wooden surface with salt sprinkled around, against a blurred warm-toned background.

Sorbido is a premium tequila brand born from the heart of Mexico and crafted for those who appreciate the finer moments in life. Rooted in tradition and elevated by sophistication, Sorbido is not just a spirit, it’s an experience. From the agave fields to the final pour, every detail reflects a commitment to quality, heritage, and refined taste.

The name Sorbido, meaning "sipped" or "savoured" in Spanish, captures the essence of the brand. This is tequila made to be enjoyed slowly, deliberately, and with a sense of occasion. Whether served neat, over ice, or as the centrepiece of a refined cocktail, Sorbido invites you to slow down and indulge in the ritual.

Sorbido is more than a drink, it's a statement. A celebration of culture, craftsmanship, and the beauty of taking your time.

CONCEPT PROJECT

CONCEPT PROJECT

Group of four friends enjoying drinks together in a bar, smiling and toasting with shot glasses, with lime wedges on the table.

The Origin

The project came about when I stumbled across an instagram page posting weekly design briefs. I wanted to challange myself to design something premium without going down the stereotypical route. I wanted to create something bold, fun but still gives that element of luxury.

A shot of a shot glass with salt on the rim, filled with a dark amber-colored drink. There are lime wedges, a salt shaker, and other glasses in the background on a wooden table.

The logo was inspired by the Agave plant which is what is used to make tequila. It is a slightly more abstract look to it but I wanted something that reflected the craftsmanship that goes into making tequila. You could say that the logo is rooted in the commitment to the craft. I paired the logo with a typeface that offers a simple Mexican vibe to it to give that authenticty. It is playful but premium. All together it creates a well rounded & versatile identity, perfect for this brand.

The Logo

Four different tequila bottle labels with the word Sorbidoo, each with a unique design, below are descriptions of each label's design inspiration.
Dimly lit image of multiple shot glasses on a table with lemon wedges and a lime wedge, a bottle on its side, and a glowing light bulb in the background. Overlaid text says 'Great nights are made with Sorbido'.

A packaging label with a black and white geometric design, featuring a logo of a stylized agave plant and the text 'SORRIDO Premium Tequila,' 'Reposado,' 'ALC 28%,' '100% Agave,' '750ml,' and some placeholder text, placed next to a black paper bag with the same logo on a wooden surface.

FINAL SAY

“I think this conceptual project came together quite nicely and looks premium without screaming premium. It is a softer quieter approach to premium. The focus on bringing people together socially is a great aspect because these are the things that make memories and what we should be living for. And drinkingwith and being around your friends is what it is all about. Good times, Good people, Great Tequila.

Cheers!”
