Back Nine Golf

This was a concept brand I worked on for a golf club owned by a third-generation greenkeeper. The brief was to design a logo for the golf course called ‘Back Nine’.

Built on land once cared for by a third-generation greenkeeper, Back Nine isn’t just a golf course, it is memory, histroy and hardwork shaped into fairways, and time etched into the soil. This project celebrates the quiet rhythm of the late-day round. When the sun is low, the air slows, and golf becomes less about scorecards and more about feeling and enjoyment.

Tended by hands that know it deeply and played by people who come here to unwind after a hard day’s work. From gritty fairway swings in the amber light to quiet moments between friends at the clubhouse, every detail is designed to honour the real texture of the game.

Greenkeepers at dawn, players at dusk, and stories carried by wind and grass.

Back Nine is slow, earthy, and soulful. This isn’t golf, it’s where focus meets freedom.

Golf Should Be For Everyone

Back Nine Golf Course, the beleive is that golf is for all, They know that the grafters and hard workers of the world don’t always have time to fit in a round. Money for the right attire or the right equipment can be hard to come by.

But at Back Nine golf Courses, you can turn up in your work gear and hire a set of clubs and play 9 holes without fear of judgement. With our greenkeepers trained over generations you can play on some of the finest and best maintained courses in the country.
